REDUCE MY BILLS ATTEND LBV NETWORKING EVENT

Reduce My Bills Head of sales Neil Farrar-Smith recently attended an excellent networking event held at West Lancashire College.

It was an event organised by the Lancashire Business View magazine, and was a perfect opportunity for Neil and Reduce My Bills to engage in conversation with other businesses in the county.

The event was held on the 29th September at West Lancashire College in Skelmersdale enabling businesses to network with those featured in the magazine and the wider business community. With several interviews taking place including Jess Barrow of Woohoo Ltd, Sam Gibbs at Mercure Blackburn, Gareth Sutton at West Lancashire College and Lauren Capstick of the Lancashire Skills & Employment Hub.

Neil also had the opportunity to speak with several personalities from LBV including their Chairman Richard Slater. Both spoke about the magazine and its rich value in content, with Neil expressing his delight that Reduce My Bills was part of the magazine's September/October edition and hinting that he would be honoured to present the business at any future networking events.

During the morning Neil was also able to talk with LBV Managing director, Stephen Bolton. Neil shared the vision of Reduce My Bills with Stephen, who was impressed with the way in which Neil was interacting with fellow LBV members and engaging in conversation as somebody new to this networking event.

Being a part of this event and featuring in the recent edition of the magazine was extremely beneficial for the business. Having the ability to connect with other businesses from the county allowed Neil to increase the exposure of Reduce My Bills and bring the benefits of the product to the attention of those in attendance.

Neil also found time to chat with LBV Assistant marketing manager, Olivia Mccaughran who shared ideas with Neil about possible marketing strategies and ways of creating further interest in the market. And on a busy morning of networking there was also time to have a detailed conversation with Joanne Hindley, the new Sales director at LBV. She was excited about recently joining LBV and embracing the new challenges ahead.

Speaking to Neil about the event, he said; “The entire morning was thoroughly enjoyable. Having the opportunity to meet Lancashire businesses in person was beneficial for Reduce My Bills. Being featured in the magazine is one thing, but to be here in person to chat to fellow members is very important.”

Neil went on to say; “The product we are offering at Reduce My Bills is new to the market and like no other. Nobody else is doing what we do, and sometimes that can generate scepticism. By being here and having the ability to discuss what Reduce My Bills has to offer gives our product greater levels of clarity. Social media is a fantastic tool for sharing and increasing product exposure, but it is never the same as being able to express that personally.”
